In the course of the opening set, the Ukrainians led by +2, but the home team managed to equalize the score (17:17), and then win the set - 20:25.

The next set seemed to be very difficult for the Ukrainians: the Latvians kept pressing again and looked more confident on their home court - 20:25.

As a result, from the opening minutes of the third set, the Latvians were again in the lead. Andrii Levchenko's players were able to equalize the score and then take the lead (18:16). However, the hosts of the arena in Daugavpils acted very well in defense (18:18). But our "youth" was able to withstand the pressure of the opponent and finish this set in her favor - 25:23.

The next episode of the set was similar to the previous one: so-called "swings", which is typical in volleyball, which again ended with the score 25:23, and once again in favor of Ukraine.

Ukrainian volleyball players, while losing 0:2 in sets, were able to equalize the score to 2:2 and transfer the game to a tie-break.

In the decisive set, the "blue-yellows" gathered all their strength and emotions and won Latvia over - 15:13 and 3:2 in the end.

Tomorrow, July 22, at 15:30, the "blue and yellows" will play against the Czech team, which defeated Latvia (3:0) and Turkey (3:1). And now it is the leader of the group with the maximum number of points - 6.
