Volleyball players of the national team of Ukraine U-18 defeated their peers from Georgia and completed the qualification for the 2024 European Championship on a high note. However, unfortunately, this success did not allow the blue-yellow team to break into the final part of the continental championship.
Anastasiia Kotliarenko's wards lost in the first two rounds to Slovenia (1-3) and France (2-3), respectively, and even then lost all chances to compete for a ticket to the European Championship. The same fate befell the hosts of the Georgian quartet before the final day of the game. Therefore, their duel today had no tournament significance.
