The start of the match was equal (9:9), but the fighting spirit of Vinnytsia was evident. They adjusted better to the fight and quickly earned break points (11:9). 4 blocks and fewer serving errors allowed Kyryl Peredriy's team to control the course of the set (15:11 - 21:18). Although Vinnytsia's attack percentage was lower (40% versus 47%), this did not prevent them from winning the first set - 25:21.
In the next episode, the game of the Ternopil players completely deteriorated: they continued to take risks on the serve and at the same time make mistakes, and the "Police" attackers had certain problems in the attack. Meanwhile, the opposite of "MHP" Mykhailo Yakushenko scored 5 out of 8 goals (63%), and Illia Chaban successfully worked on the block (2 blocks). 25:19 and 2-0 for Vinnytsia.
After a long break, the "policemen" seemed to be replaced: Illia Hlabai (5 out of 10 goals) and Volodymyr Mirchev (6 out of 11 attacks) re-entered the game. Ternopil was in the lead (7:3 – 16:12). And they managed to keep one more chance for victory - 25:21.
In the fourth set, there were constant so-called "swings" on the court (6:6 - 7:9). Vinnytsia's emotions were over the top, and Ternopil's mistakes, especially on the serve, were too many to count on victory in this set as well. As a result, 25:22 and 3-1 in favor of "MHP-Ladyzhyn-ShVSM-Kolos".
Mykhailo Yakushenko (18 points) was the most productive player of the match. He was recognized as the best player of the match.
