As in most cases, the start of this match was quite even (4:4). By the time the Poltava captain reached the serving area - 2 aces and "Reshetylivka" was already in a lead (11:9). By the way, at the end of the set, he repeated his "two-ace" success (23:15). In the end, 25:16 in favor of Poltava team.

In the second set, the players of Chernivtsi had too many errors on their serve and attack. This prevented them from imposing a worthy struggle on the players of Poltava (13:16). Meanwhile, Serhii Sosnin's wards played well in the "first pace" and did a good job on the block - 25:20.

The third set took place according to the scenario of "Bukovyna", who rested during a 10-minute break and received the following instructions from the Bulgarian specialist Volodymyr Orlov (4:0 - 14:10). However, towards the end, Nik Sotnyk took the traditional responsibility in the attack, he made a maximum effort to equalize the score (19:19 - 23:23). However, the volleyball players from Chernivtsi were the first to score the required 25 points - 25:23.

The fourth set was not final in this match. The Reshetylivka team took the lead from the first rallies (5:1 – 15:12). However, the young and ambitious volleyball players of "Bukovyna" equalized the score (17:17), and then, thanks to the mistakes of the opponent and the good "glider" serve of Serhii Riabov, they turned the tide of the set (20:17). The players of Chernivtsi withstood the onslaught of the Poltava team with incredible efforts and moved the game to a tie-break - 25:23.

In the fifth set, despite the injuries of middle blocker Ruslan Osypenko and setter Illia Polishchuk, the representatives of the Poltava region managed to be more focused and cool-headed (3:0 – 8:5). As a result, 15:13 and 3-2.

The most productive player of the match was the captain of the Poltava team Nik Sotnyk (26 points). He was also recognized as the best player of the match.
