The program of the seventh round of the Super League-Dmart was closed by the match between Vinnytsia "Dobrodiy-Meduniversitet-ShVSM" and "National Team of Ukraine U-15". If it was the second game in the tour for the potential leader of the championship, then the "national players", given the fact that they were not playing in the 2022 League Cup, played the first match after a long break. The question of what level of volleyball the youngest team of the championship will be able to show today was perhaps the most intriguing.
Anastasiia Kotlyarenko's team was helped today by several players of the National Team of Ukraine U-17 who were born in 2007. The girls, together with their younger partners, played at a good level. Today's confrontation can be written down as an asset of the National Team of Ukraine U-15. In the opening set, the team took the first rally, after which they constantly caught up with the opponent, and at the same time reduced the gap by 4-5 points several times. The deciding factor in this set was a 4:0 run by "Dobrodiy" with a score of 18:15 in favor of the Vinnytsia club.
In the second set, the real "swings" were observed. In his debut, Yuliia Yakusheva's team lost 3 points at once (4:7), after which they won 6 consecutive rallies. "National team of Ukraine U-15" responded with a significant 5:0 run, regaining the lead. After the ace performed by Daryna Onishchenko, the scoreboard again highlighted "+3" in favor of "national players" (14:11). "Dobrodiy" once again managed to strengthen the game during the course of the set, and this time very significantly. Vinnytsia's 14:3 spurt got them the second set in a row.
After a ten-minute break, "Dobrodiy" continued its dominance - 6:2, 9:3, 11:5. To the credit of the National Team of Ukraine U-15, the team managed to reduce its deficit to two points (10:12) in the first half of the set. Still, the girls could not develop their local success. "Dobrodiy" spent the second half of the set very collected, taking it in the end with a score of 25:18.
The 3:0 victory of the team from Vinnytsia allowed them to finish the 7th round of the Super League-Dmart in first place with 36 tournament points.
