The penultimate game day of the 6th round of the Super League-Budinvest ended with the match between "Barkom-National Team of Ukraine U-18" and the Zhytomyr club "Zhytichi-Polyssia". Interest in the confrontation was fueled by the fact that in the first round, the U-18 national team quite unexpectedly beat Zhytomyr in five sets. Today's opponents had a good tournament motivation: "Zhytichi-Polyssia" in case of victory would be fixed in fourth place, and the success of the youngest team in the championship would raise it to the sixth position.
  The U-18 national team had to face an experienced opponent without one of its absolute leaders, Eduard Shterik. However, at the start of the match, she led with a score of 5:3. For its part, "Zhytichi-Polyssia" confidently approached the equator of the party, issuing a handicap of 4 points (13:9). Later, the "national players" lost 6 points (12:18), and although at that moment they organized a 4:0 rush, they could not catch up with their opponent and lost a set to the team of Serhii Tereykovskyi - 19:25.

The people of Zhytomyr started the second set very confidently - 8:3, 10:4, 13:5. In the second half of the set, they constantly increased their advantage, taking this set even easier than the previous one: the opponent left behind only 14 rallies.

After a 10-minute break, the U-18 national team made another attempt to catch up with the Zhytomyr team. Unfortunately for the youth, it was not successful. Even in the first half of the set, Serhii Tereykovskyi's team achieved a solid handicap (12:6). Volodymyr Romantsov's team very quickly reduced its deficit to two points (11:13, 12:14), but "Zhytichi-Polyssia" did not lose the initiative and took revenge on the young opponent for the defeat in the 3rd round.
