The 7th round of Super League-Budinvest was closed by Ternopil "Security Police-ZUNU-Dynamo" and Zhytomyr "Zhytichi-Polissya". Both teams had significant tournament motivation before the match: the winner would improve their tournament position. At the same time, the favorite status should have been given to the Zhytomyr club. The Zhytomyr team twice in this championship defeated today's opponent with a score of 3:1 and had 13 points more in the tournament table.
This time the winner of the confrontation was determined in five sets. The match began with Serhii Tereykovsky's team losing the first two rallies of the opening set to the Ternopil team, then established its leadership, not breaking away, however, far from the opponent. In this way, the whole game was played, which was won by "Zhytichi-Polissya" with a score of 25:22.

After a ten-minute break, "Security Police" did everything possible to change the course of the match, and it succeeded. In the first half of the third set, Ternopil led by three points (11:8). At this moment, the head coach of "Zhytichi-Polissya" Serhii Tereykovsky took a time-out and spent "educational work" with his team. Zhytomyr took some time to take the lead (18:17), but they were unable to develop this local success. At the end of the game, the advantage of "Security Police" was 5 points (23:18). After that, Yurii Kravtsov's team lost 4 rallies in a row, but managed to bring the set to a victorious end.
Ternopil didn't stop there and at the start of the fourth set organized an impressive 9:2 run. Opponents reduced their deficit to 5 points, but it was not enough. "Security Police" won this set by all aspects - 25:19.
In the fifth decisive set, the teams had equal chances of success. "Security Police" won the first half of the set with a comfortable margin - 8:5. However, already at the beginning of the second half, the score became equal - 9:9. The scoreboard showed parity several more times. In the last (13:13) "Zhytichi-Polissya" took two rallies in a row and won this exciting confrontation.
The team from Zhytomyr has 24 points in the championship - the same number as the "Law Academy". "Security Police" with 10 scoring points came in 7th place.
