The youth women's national team of Ukraine U-22 is actively preparing for the qualification for the European Championship 2024. At this moment, our team is in training in the Slovenian city of Maribor. There, on July 16 and 17, she held friendly matches against peers from Austria. Both ended with the victory of Andrii Romanovych's wards with a score of 3-1 and 4-1 (five sets were played according to the agreement), respectively.
We would like to remind you that in the qualification of the continental championship, the blue-yellow team got into Group A, the matches of which will be held from July 21 to 23 in the Portuguese city of Paredes. In addition to the hosts, their opponents will be representatives of Denmark and Ireland.
Group A: UKRAINE, Portugal, Denmark, Ireland.
The winners of the groups (four of them in total) and the three best-ranked teams among the second places will go to the continental championship.
