The women's national team of Ukraine continues its rise in the FIVB ranking. After two "easy" victories in the finals of the European Golden League-2023 against the Swedes, the blue-yellow team entered the top 20 best national teams in the world.
In the updated rating of the International Volleyball Federation, Ivan Petkov's team with 159.45 points overtook France, which fell to 21st place. The leadership at the table is still held by the USA.
We would like to remind you that our athletes won the European League trophy for the first time in six years and for the second time in their history. Having reached the finals of these competitions, they also received a quota for the Challenger Cup - a qualifying tournament for the prestigious Nations League-2024.
