16:00 "DobroDiy-Meduniversitet-ShVSM" — SK "Balta"
In the final round of the first half of the championship of Ukraine, "DobroDiy" beat "Prometey" and "Alanta" and secured themselves at the top of the tournament table. In addition, their last success allowed them to go directly to the semi-finals of the League Cup. The Vinnytsia team sets itself the highest goals, one of which is to triumph in this tournament. For a ticket to the finals, they will play against "Balta", which in the current Super League-Dmart season they already defeated twice with a score of 3-0.
As for the Balta team themselves, they are currently in fourth place in the national championship. Because of that, unlike their opponents, they had to overcome an additional round, meeting with the Ukrainian U-17 national team. Despite personnel problems, Serhii Koltsov's wards completely coped with their task (3-1). Due to illness, in particular, libero Tetyana Hrashchenko and setter Polina Beketova missed that match.
19:00 "Alanta" — SC "Prometey"
According to the results of the first half of the national championship, "Alanta" took second place, therefore, together with "DobroDiy", they automatically qualified for the 1/2 finals of the League Cup. For its part, "Prometey" (currently third in the championship) should have met "Halychanka-ZUNU" (sixth) on the way to this stage. However, the latter withdrew from the competition due to the illness of almost all team members.
Face-to-face matches with the participation of these teams are of great interest. Firstly, this is the Dnipro derby, and secondly, both claim the highest awards. In the current season, they held three matches between them: as part of the tournament Prometey Open 2022 and the championship of Ukraine. If in the pre-season there was an equal struggle on the court, and the game's fate was decided on a tie-break, then in the Super League-Dmart the clubs exchanged confident "easy" victories.
