The regular championship of Ukraine among women's teams of the Super League-Dmart of the 2022/23 season is coming to an end. Next up is the final IX round, the matches of which will be held from February 9 to 12. And then only the most interesting - the playoff games and ultimately the determination of the winner and finalists of the competition.

It is worth noting that the team that wins the "regular" will receive a direct ticket to the semi-finals. Meanwhile, in the quarterfinals, the second team will play against the seventh, the third - against the sixth, and the fourth - against the fifth.

Currently, only "Alanta" and "Dobrodiy-Meduniversitet-ShVSM" claim the first place, which will be deciding its fate in the upcoming central match of the IX round. Undoubtedly, fans of domestic volleyball will witness an enchanting match.

Before that, the team from Vinnytsia will have one more test - a match with "Prometey". The Red and Whites have already secured third place. Despite this, they are equally not going to play with their sleeves down. Because that's why they are the current champions of Ukraine.

It will also be hot between the clubs from the lower part of the tournament table. In particular, Halychanka-ZUNU aims to win two victories and retain the opportunity to fight for the top four in the next stage. It was told by Liudmila Chornenka, the head coach of Ternopil.

- At the moment, my players are in good physical shape. However, there is a number of injuries that last even since the previous round. They can cause difficulties in completing the tasks for the final round. Therefore, we are working out the main and spare options, - Liudmila Volodymyrivna added.

The Ternopil club will play against the national teams of Ukraine U-15 and U-17. The latter, by the way, has a lot of ambition either. According to the head coach of the blue and yellow team Volodymyr Podkopaiev, they always set maximum goals for themselves:

- Fight for every ball, set, and game. How it turns out is another question. Many factors affect this: from injuries to the instability of the psychological state of young players. Because they don't even have a formed sports character now. And every time they have the desire to either show the maximum of their capabilities or to rehabilitate for past failures, which greatly hinders them. Almost all the girls are in good shape. Dariia Makarova continues to recover after a microtrauma. She is dissatisfied with her game, for which she has objective reasons. Because of this, she also has a psychological problem.

SC "Balta" will also play two matches with national teams. The confrontation with Podkopaiev's team will be fundamental. After all, the teams are next to each other in the standings: the Balta club is in fourth position, and the U-17 girls are in fifth. The distance between them is only two wins and one point.
