On March 9, the second match of the men's Super League-Dmart playoff series (3rd-6th places) took place at the PVLU arena, where "Epicenter-Podolyany" and "The team of Poltava region-VC Reshetylivka-Barkom-Kazhany" met. In the previous match, the Podolyany won an "easy" victory. So, for the players from Poltava, it was the last opportunity to correct the situation, and for the Podolyany a chance to end the confrontation in two matches.

The teams played several rallies of the starting set on equal footing (3:3 – 5:5). The opposite of the "bisons" Michal Finger hastened to correct the situation and with his successful attacks earned a break point (7:5). Then there was an ace from Oleksandr Koval (9:6) and a general game in defense from his partners (10:6). Gradually, the advantage of Podolyany team grew (17:10) and it was they who won the first set - 25:17.
In the second set, the situation was repeated: an even score (6:6), an ace now by Artem Smoliar (10:6) and a ball of effective attacks by Yevhenii Kisiliuk (19:14). Even the final score of the party was the same as in the previous one - 25:17 in favor of the Podolyany.
In the third set, Reshetilivka tried to impose a fight (4:4 – 9:9 – 11:11). However, Kisiliuk again disagreed with this situation and implemented 7 out of 10 attacks, earning a good advantage (14:11 - 17:12 - 24:20). It seemed that the fate of the set and the match was decided, but the constant captain of "Reshetylivka" Nik Sotnyk did not think so - two aces in his performance and a number of successful attacks of his teammates and intrigue once again reigned in the PVLU arena (24:24). However, the aforementioned Kisiliuk effectively finished the next attack, and Oleksandr Koval made a timely block - 26:24 and 3-0 for the "bisons".
The most productive player of the meeting was Yevhenii Kisiliuk (17 points) the outside hitter of "Epicenter-Podolyany". He received the MVP award.
Thus, we already know three semi-finalists - VC "Prometey" (Dnipro), VC "Zhytychi-Polissia" (Zhytomyr) and "Epicenter-Podolyany".
In the semi-finals, VC "Prometey" will play against the winner of the duel of VSC "Law Academy" - "Security Police-ZUNU-Dynamo", and VC "Zhytychi-Polissia" will play against "Epicenter-Podolyany".
