From the first rallies of the match, a struggle began (4:4 - 9:9). The attacker of "Bukovyna" Artem Troianovskyi served an ace and in general issued a difficult series of serves for the opponent (12:9). The players of Zhytomyr tried to get closer (12:13), but the Chernivtsi team was too effective on the block (6 blocks in the first set against one of the Zhytomyr team). However, in the next set, the main attacking player Viktor Shapoval appeared instead of Artur Handziy at the opposite position of Zhytychi. On his serve, two of which were aces, the players of Zhytomyr immediately "ran away" from the opponent (5:1). Then the advantage increased to an unattainable one (16:6) and, in the end, Serhii Tereikovskyi's team evened the score in sets - 25:14.

Later on, representatives of Zhytomyr controlled the course of the meeting and did not allow the opponents to impose their pace of the game (5:3 - 9:5 - 20:14). A higher rate of attacks (62% vs. 52%) and a better reception rate (69% vs. 37%) allowed "Zhytychi" to win another set - 25:19.

No matter how hard the Chernivtsi team tried in the fourth set to fight against the powerful service of "Zhytychi" and Viktor Shapoval's attacks, they could not stand on equal footing (8:14). In addition to this were also their own mistakes (11:18). In the end, the Bukovyna team "moved up" in the score a little, but the lack of experience showed signs. In the end, 25:22 and 3-1 in favor of VC "Zhytychi-Polissia".

The most productive player of the meeting was the attacker of the Chernivtsi team Maksym Tonkonoh (15 points).
