In the first match of the tournament, the national team of Ukraine confidently defeated North Macedonia (3:0). Next, the Ukrainians beat the national teams of Belgium (3:0) and then the Croatia team, but twice already (3:0, 3:0).
Belgium started the tournament with a victory over Croatia (3:1). But then on the road they to North Macedonia (1:3). Later, at home, they lost to Ukraine (0:3), and in the fourth round, they rehabilitated themselves in front of their fans and so-called "easily" beat the Macedonians (3:0).
