Ukraine has been among the best countries in the Champions League ranking among women's teams for the past three seasons. This was announced by the president of PVLU and SC "Prometey" Volodymyr Dubinsky.
"Such success was achieved, not in the least, thanks to the hard work of the SC "Prometey" team, which in just four years of its existence has already managed to play in the main draw of the most prestigious European club tournament twice! Congratulations on this incredible achievement to all volleyball players and the coaching staff of the "red and whites" led by Ivan Petkov!" - Volodymyr Mykhailovych wrote on his Facebook page.
We should note that Ukraine is in the company of the undisputed leaders of European volleyball: Italy, Turkey, Poland, France, and Germany! Overall, with 110.66 points, the team ranks 7th on this list. This gives Prometey, as the national champion, the right to automatically qualify for the group stage of the Champions League for the 2023/24 season for the second year in a row.
