The national team of Ukraine U-15 — "Alanta" 0-3 (19:25, 13:25, 14:25)
The second team of the "regular season" of Super League-Dmart - "Alanta" - confirmed the status of the clear favorite in the first quarter-final meeting against the national team of Ukraine U-15. The Dnipro team did not postpone the matter for a long time, and already from the starting minutes secured a comfortable handicap — 1:6.
Thanks to Kira Lisova's block-out, the blue-yellow team managed the reception. And then the young athletes overcame the initial excitement and as the result, began to steadily score points - 8:13. Veronika Tverda went to serve: the setter scored two aces and helped her team reduce the deficit to a minimum — 12:13. However, at the end of the set, the team from Dnipro regained the initiative — 19:25.
In the first half of the second set, the team of Anastasiia Kotliarenko continued to impose a decent fight on the players of "Alanta" - 6:9. However, the latter completely controlled the course of events on the court, even in spite of some rotation of the composition made by Gariy Yeghiazarov. At a certain point, the "youngers" began to make mistakes more often, and the intrigue meanwhile melted in front of our eyes - 13:25.
In the third segment, the sensation did not happen either. From the first minutes, the Dnipro team effectively "blocked" the shots of their opponents, thus depriving them of confidence in the attack. As a result, the blue-yellow team managed to exceed their score of the previous set by only one point - 14:25.
