The second match between "Alanta" and "Prometey" in the Super League-Dmart final also lasted three games. Despite this, just like yesterday, the wards of Gariy Yeghiazarov gave the current champions of Ukraine a worthy fight.
From the start, Stanislava Parfonova put the ball into play quite well for her team, earning an ace at the same time. Soon, her teammates strengthened the success of "Alanta" (5:1) with an organized block. With the efforts of Svitlana Dorsman, the "red and whites" not only restored parity but also became the leaders (6:7).
Gariy Yegiazarov's wards did not want to let their rivals go far, and they succeeded in this completely (19:20). Such back-to-back play added incredible intrigue to the match. Subsequently, Marta Fedyk's floater provoked Ivan Petkov to a time-out, because the scoreboard was already tied (20:20).
This pause did not deprive "Alanta" of the desire to win the set. In the end, they transformed it into a set ball (24:23). However, the volleyball players of "Prometey" kept it steady and took the next three rallies, depriving opponents of hopes for a win in the debut set - 24:26.
In the next set, the dominance of the current champions of the country was more noticeable (4:9). Yegiazarov's team was noticeably psychologically depressed. Errors that we had not seen before began to appear. It is also worth noting the positive moments, when, for example, "Alanta" caught the opponent's lack of concentration and made a spurt (5:0). However, it turned out to be not enough to return the intrigue, so great was the gap - 19:25.
"Prometey" started the third set powerfully (0:4). Such a starting handicap could not but add confidence to Petkov's wards, who by the end of this segment only developed this success — 12:25.
