VC "Bukovynka" - "Dobrodiy-Meduniversitet-ShVSM" 3-0 (25:21, 25:22, 25:20)
"Bukovynka" started its performances in 2024 with a victory over "Dobrodiy". Vinnytsia's players were the first to open the score. However, they could not develop their local success, not taking a single party in the end.
The Chernivtsi players repeatedly made mistakes at the final stage of attacks in the opening minutes of the meeting, which was also reflected on the scoreboard (1:3). Soon, the favorites of the match did set their sights and eventually turned the tide of the set. For example, after Maria Kaplanska's ace, "Bukovynka" took the lead (6:5).
"Dobrodiy", which has always been led by its long-time captain Valeriia Yakusheva. Thanks to the efforts of the outside hitter, the Vinnytsia team kept hopes for a triumph for some time (13:10). However, with each new rally, they melted before our eyes (19:11). Artem Dyhtiarenko's wards turned out to be rather "smeared" at the end. However, this did not prevent them from leading the set to their victory - 25:21.
After the break, which was forced to drag on, the sides immediately began to demonstrate dynamic and, most importantly, even volleyball (3:3). Next, Viktoriia Lokhmanchuk completely knocked out her opponent from the reception, while earning three consecutive aces (8:3). This spurt of "Bukovynka" became one of the turning points in this segment.
Although Yuliia Yakusheva's wards did return to the game with character: Anastasiia Kucher's powerful serve and her teammates' successful completion helped to reduce the gap to a minimum (15:14). So the final minutes turned out to be intriguing (23:22). In fact, the team from Vinnytsia had a good opportunity to even out parity. But here we just note the actions of their opponents in defense - 25:22.
The previous failures did not particularly affect the psychological state of the Dobrodiy players, who were clinging to every point (11:11). At the equator of the set, they once again had problems with reception, which the Chernivtsi players took advantage of and organized a rush (15:11). The advantage of the latter lasted until the end of the set — 25:20.
