On November 15, at 17:00, the draw of the Super Cup of Ukraine-2023 among men's teams will take place at the "PVLU" arena. The current champion of the country VC "Prometey" and the winner of the League Cup-2022 "Epicenter-Podolyany" will compete for the first trophy of the season.
History of the meetings
Season 2022-2023
Previous meetings of these teams in the last season of the regular season of the Super League ended in favor of the team from Horodok (3:0, 3:1 and 3:2). Another match took place in the finals of the League Cup 2022: there, as you know, Podolyany also became the best team (3:2).
The Bisons won the first game of the final series (3:1), and then Prometey won three consecutive matches (3:2, 3:2, 3:2) and thus became the champion of Ukraine for the first time in its history.
Season 2023-2024
At the beginning of October, the annual pre-season friendly tournament "Prometey Open" took place, and there the Dnipro "easily" defeated the Podolyany club (3:0), who came to the tournament without legionnaires.

The teams started the current game season with performances in European Cups.
"Epicenter-Podolyany" played in the 1/32 finals of the CEV Cup, but could not go further. The wards of Mauricio Paes lost the first match to the Belgian "Menen" (1:3), then won the return match (3:0), but in the "golden" deciding set, fortune smiled on their opponents (14:16).
VC "Prometey" played in two qualifying rounds of the Champions League. In the first stage, the Dnipro team won their group, and in the second stage, they took an unassailable third place. However, they will continue to perform in the European arena, but now in the 1/16 finals of the CEV Cup.
The regular championship of Ukraine for Podolyany started unstable: in the first round, they lost to VC "Zhytychi-Polissia" (2:3) and defeated "Security Police-ZUNU-Dynamo" (3:1).
And VC "Prometey" won two victories - over Chernihiv "Burevisnyk-ShVSM" (3:1) and VC "Reshetylivka-Barkom-Kazhany" (3:0).
