In the opening set of this match, a struggle started in the PVLU arena, which was won by the Ternopil team (7:5) thanks to Illia Hlabai's ace and Artem Riazanov's first-pace attack. However, the players of Dnipro quickly equalized the score (13:13), because they do not want to give the opponent a single set (18:16). At the end of the first set, "Prometey" completely controlled the game, Dmytro Teromenko ended it with an ace - 25:19.
Andrii Levchenko's wards confidently led throughout the second set (5:2 – 15:9). It was difficult for the Ternopil players to cope with the opponent's powerful serve and they had some problems with their own as well. 25:15 and 2-0 for Dnipro.
Neither a 10-minute break nor a change of a setter in the "Police" team changed the situation on the court. The players of Dnipro continued to dominate (12:6) and rapidly approached their ninth victory in the championship of Ukraine for the 2023-2024 season. In the end, 25:19 and 3-0 in favor of "Prometey".
The most productive player of the match was Dmytro Teromenko, the middle blocker of the "red and whites" (12 points). He received the MVP award.
