Bukovyna tried to take revenge for the defeat in the first round of the regular championship. And that's why they started the opening set powerfully (4:1 – 6:2). The residents of Chernivtsi played well on the block, and the Ternopil volleyball players helped them score points with their mistakes on the serve (20:15). The wards of Bulgarian specialist Volodymyr Orlov won the first set - 25:20.

In the second set, the audience also saw the score 4:1 on the scoreboard, but now it was in favor of the "Security Police". However, thanks to the effective play at the first pace, the Chernivtsi quickly equalized the score (7:7), which lasted almost until the end of the set (14:14 - 19:19). Next, the captain of Ternopil made two mistakes in the attack, which provided the Bukovyna players with break points (21:19). In the end, the second set remained in favor of Chernivtsi - 25:21.

After a 10-minute break, Ternopil took the lead again (4:1). The key in this set was the 100% implementation of attacks by Volodymyr Mirchev and releasing on the court of the experienced opposite Andrii Horbenko. 25:18 and in favor of the "policemen".

The fourth set turned out to be the most heated in this confrontation: the teams kept parity (11:11) and closer to the equator of the set, the Bukovyna took the lead (16:13 – 24:22). They even had two set balls. However, they could not implement them (24:24). The players of Ternopil fought to the last point and the team from Chernivtsi did not want to give up, it seemed that the match had been won. However, the pressure of Volodymyr Mirchev and his teammates was so strong that the young performers of "Bukovyna" made mistakes - 30:32 and 2-2 in sets. An intriguing tie-break awaited.

In the decisive fifth set, the "policemen" took the lead (4:0 - 7:2) on Mykola Bovsunovskyi's serve and thanks to attacks, Mirchev's ace and Horbenko's block. However, they lost their advantage due to the good game of the opponents (8:8). Thanks to emotions and incredible desire, the Ternopil team won the desired victory - 15:11 and 3-2.

The MVP prize went to the captain of the "Security Police" Volodymyr Mirchev.
