"Security Police-ZUNU-Dynamo" - VSC "Bukovyna" - 3:1 (25:20, 18:25, 25:22, 25:22)

The 3rd round of the Ukrainian volleyball championship began with the meeting of teams from Ternopil and Chernivtsi - "Security Police-ZUNU-Dynamo" and VSC "Bukovyna".

The start of the match was fairly even (6:6). The Ternopil players were better at finishing attacks (13:11), and they were able to increase their lead (17:11) on the serve of captain Volodymyr Mirchev. The first set followed the "Security Police" scenario - 25:20.

In the second set, the game turned upside down and the Chernivtsi team now became the leader. Their two productive blocks created a small advantage (8:5), and the Ternopil players' own mistakes helped to increase it (10:5). This double handicap was maintained throughout the set (14:7 – 16:8) and, in the end, the leader in this set did not change - 25:18 in favor of Bukovyna.

After a 10-minute break, a real "swings" continued in the PVLU arena. At first, the score was equal (6:6), and then the Bukovyna players won three consecutive rallies (9:6), and later the Ternopil residents did the same (10:10). Wards of Volodymyr Orlov carried out several attacks, which the "policemen" could not cope with (14:11 - 18:14). And then the turning point of this set happened. Volodymyr Mirchev and his teammates not only overtook the opponent (18:18) but also took the lead (21:18). After the lost points and the opportunity to take the lead by sets, the Bukovyna team was completely confused. 25:22 in favor of the "Police".

Set number 4 was very evenly tense for both teams (8:8 – 11:11). Until the moment when Vasyl Uhman from Ternopil came out to serve. His serve turned out to be difficult for the opponent (15:13), and the ace completely spoiled the mood of the Bukovyna team (16:13). On courage and emotions, "Security Police" pressed one of the leaders of the championship - 25:22 and 3:1.

The MVP prize was awarded to "Police" captain Volodymyr Mirchev.

Tomorrow, December 1 at 16:00, Bukovyna will play against Burevisnyk, and Ternopil will meet with representatives of Chernihiv on December 2 at 12:00.
