SC "Prometey" — "Alanta" 3-0 (25:16, 25:9, 25:19)
The volleyball players of "Prometey" in the Dnipro derby overcame the resistance of the players of "Alanta" and lifted their next trophy above their heads - the Cup of Ukraine.
"Red and whites" seized the initiative from the first minute of the confrontation, which they were able to transform into a confident leadership (3:0). Despite the fact that Gariy Yegiazarov's wards gave a lot of strength in the meeting with Bukovynka yesterday, they equally fought for every point. But it was impossible to stop the offensive potential of "Prometey" in the opening set - 25:16.
In the next set, Ivan Petkov's wards did not allow their team to even reach the 10-point mark. The players of "Alanta" did not succeed at all, both in attack and defense. Hence the result — 25:9.
After 10 minutes, Yegiazarov's team finally began to impose a worthy fight on the country's champions. The latter's block failed in those minutes, which the opponents skilfully used and led for a certain time in the score (7:9). However, it did not last long: the "red-and-whites" regained the initiative and soon brought the game, and with it, the match to a general triumph - 25:19.
