The second match of the opening game day of the 8th round of the Super League-Dmart unexpectedly started with an even fight: the volleyball players of the Ukrainian U-15 national team entered the game quite well and emotionally (6:4). But the reigning champion of the country quickly returned to the game: successful attacks by Kaplanska and Maryna Mircheva and her series of effective serves created a double advantage (20:11). Kateryna Cherkashyna put the point in the set with an ace - 25:14.
The situation did not change in the second set either: "Prometey" dominated the class of its rivals. Anastasia Horbachenko, a setter from Kamianske, was able to use all her attackers. Kateryna Cherkashyna, who's been mentioned above, was especially distinguished with 3 out of 3 attacks and 2 blocks. In the end, Andrii Romanovych's team allowed their young opponents to score only 13 points - 25:13.
After a long break, Anastasiia Kotlyarenko's team looked a little better: the girls of the Ukrainian youth national team were able to impose a fight (10:8). However, their advantage did not last long. "Prometey" was able to make up for the lost points without any problems. However, the "national players" were not going to give up (22:22) and tried to get hold of every rally. And only experience and maximum concentration allowed the "red and whites" not to give a set to their opponents. 25:22 and 3:0 in favor of "Prometey".
The most effective player in the match was Maryna Mircheva, the attacker of SC "Prometey". She scored 15 points, making 61% of attacks + 2 aces and 2 blocks.
Kateryna Cherkashina, the middle blocker of Prometey, received the MVP prize.
