VII round. The third game. January 19

SC "Prometey" — "Regina-MEGU-OSHVSM" 3-0 (25:14, 25:18, 25:19)

The current champion of Ukraine continues to go without losses in the Super League-Dmart season 2023/24. The volleyball players of "Prometey", even with an experimental team, did not leave "Regina" any chance for triumph.

Ivan Petkov, after his team's tiring matches in the Champions League, predictably used the rotation today. Despite this, the "red and whites" started this meeting equally confidently. The Rivne team tried not to let go of their opponents, and for some time they succeeded (9:7).

Then it was Yevheniia Khober's turn to serve. The outside hitter knocked out the players of "Regina" from reception and helped "Prometey" to organize a solid spurt (16:7). Soon, Anastasiia Maievska decided to improve the success of her teammate, and Diana Meliushkina put the full stop with a powerful shot - 25:14.

Mistakes by the "Prometey" team in the first half of the next set regularly replenished the treasury of the Rivne club with points (10:9). And after several rallies, Antonina Zhuk's wards took the lead in general: here Andriana Pavlyk and Co. tried to do their best (11:12). However, the "red and whites" quickly regained the lead. And three aces by Viktoriia Danchak buried the "Regina's" hopes for success in this set - 25:18.

The picture of the game in the third set of the meeting did not change: Ivan Petkov's wards continued to dominate with some gaps (18:13). At a certain moment, the "Regina" volleyball players caught the opponent losing concentration and reduced the deficit to two points (20:18). But it was not enough for gaining more - 25:19.
