The second meeting of the teams in a relatively short period of time once again ended with the victory of "Prometey". This defeat was the debut for "Alanta" in the new Super League-Dmart season.
In order to grab points in the match against the national champions, other Dnipro players had to minimize their own mistakes. It wasn't always possible, but their opponents didn't look perfect in those moments either. Therefore, the teams went evenly for a long time. However, after a series of successful blocks, "Alanta" took the lead (8:10).
Subsequently, Diana Meliushkina's first pace attack and Daria Sharhorodska's ace, who, by the way, became the MVP of the match, returned the lead to "Prometey" (16:15). Then the "swings" began. They forced Ivan Petkov to take two time-outs in a short period of time (23:22). After the second one, Mariia Protsenko served into the net, which gave the opponents a set ball. The "red and whites" managed to realize it already in the next episode - 25:22.
Gariy Yegiazarov's wards did not allow the opponents to relax in the second game as well (4:4, 7:7). At a certain moment, Svitlana Dorsman's tight serve knocked the "Alanta" players out of the reception, which cost them dearly (11:7). "Prometey" convincingly kept this advantage - 25:20.
In the third set, the coaching staff of the bronze medalists of Ukraine made a significant rotation of the line-up. Many reserve players appeared on the court at the same time, including Bohdana Hrytsyk, Kateryna Dzendzelovska, and Valeriia Kravchenko.
On the other side of the net, we celebrate the debut of Serbian Marta Drpa. The latter very soon scored her first and twelfth point for the "red and whites" at that time (12:7). In the end, there was no intrigue in this section — 25:15.
