On the final game day of the Super League-Dmart, two matches were to finally distribute the places of the teams in the tournament table based on the results of the second circle. First, SC "Balta" and the youngest team in the championship "National Team of Ukraine U-15" entered the court of "Malenkyi Paryzh". In the first circle, the Balta team defeated their opponent in three sets. Today, Serhiy Koltsov's team could also be considered the favorite of the match, but two days ago they lost to the U-17 national team, so Anastasiia Kotliarenko's team today had a great example of older girls how to face an experienced opponent.
"National players" had a great start to the match. With the score 9:6 in their favor, the head coach of "Balta" Serhii Koltsov took a time-out. After the break, the Balta team did not immediately find their game. In the second half of the set, they lost several times with a difference of 4 points until they evened the score (19:19). A few minutes later, the team from the Odesa region had to play three set balls at once. However, "Balta" not only coped with this difficult task but also won the set with a score of 26:24.
Serhii Koltsov's team started the second set much more powerfully than the previous one, leading 10:5, 12:6. The national team of Ukraine U-15 managed to reduce its deficit to 2 points several times (15:17, 17:19), but the girls could not make an impressive comeback in this set - 25:20 in favor of "Balta".
The Balta club started the third set very confidently - 4:0, 9:5. At that moment, the U-15 national team made a 5:0 run and took the lead for the first time in the set (10:9), after which they basically won the first half of the set (13:10). At the cost of considerable efforts, "Balta" regained the lead (18:16), and then, with an even score of 20:20, made a decisive 5:2 breakthrough both in this set and in the match in general.
This victory allowed the team from the Odesa region to score 14 points in the championship. The national team of Ukraine U-15 still has one scoring point in the standings.
