SC "Balta" — National team of Ukraine U-15 3-1 (20:25, 28:26, 25:22, 25:21)
The match between "Balta" and the national team of Ukraine U-15 no longer had tournament significance for both teams. Therefore, the girls just played for fun and polished the technical and tactical aspects before the playoff games.
As expected, the head coach of the Balta team, Serhii Koltsov, released an experimental team on the court from the first minutes of the confrontation. And most of these volleyball players were not ready for the rapid game of the blue-yellow team. For example, a series of aces of the latter led to a solid gap between the teams — 11:18. By the end of the set, representatives of Odesa managed to reduce their gap only a little - 20:25.
The second set took place in an equal struggle - 13:13. Further, the errors of Anastasiia Kotliarenko's team on the serve and in the attack helped their opponents make a small spurt - 16:13. The handicap of three points lasted until the end of this segment. However, the national team of Ukraine was not going to give up so easily and soon equalized the parity - 24:24. After playing a few more match points, "Balta" still pressed the opponents - 28:26.
The previous failure hit the psychological state of the young athletes — 14:9. However, with each point taken, they blossomed before our eyes. Because of that, Koltsov even took a time-out — 14:13. This pause benefited the Balta players, who in the end brought the set to their own victory - 25:22.
In the fourth set, the blue-yellow team clung to every ball and even led the score with a difference of five points — 15:20. Again, only a 30-second break of the "Balta's" coach brought his players to their senses, because after that they won seven rallies in a row. Of course, they could not recover from such a defeat - 25:21.
