Volleyball Sunday evening ended with a confrontation between "Security Police-ZUNU-Dynamo" and "The team of the Poltava region-VC "Reshetylivka-Barkom-Kazhany". Each of the teams only needed a victory: Ternopil - to enter the playoffs, Poltava - to save chances to get a ticket to the next round.

The starting set was similar to a see-saw: the teams alternately took the lead (1:4 – 15:13), then waged an equal struggle (4:4 – 10:10 – 15:15). Somewhere on the equator of the set (15:15), the serve of Poltava captain Nik Sotnyk became the key (17:15). In addition, setter Illia Polishchuk was effective on the block (20:16). "Policemen" got a little higher in the score thanks to a difficult floater by Andrii Horbenko (2 aces). However, the Reshetilivka team still took the victory in this set - 25:23.

Then the Ternopil team completely stopped fighting, while the Poltava team, on the contrary, effectively executed passes and attacks with the help of emotions and courage (7:2 – 17:10). In the end, the players of Poltava pressed the opponent again this time - 25:16.

After a long break, the Poltava team rushed to their important victory with renewed strength (4:1 – 12:6). Ternopil looked confused and in the end could not score more than 20 points in this set.

So, 3-0 for "Reshetylivka-Barkom-Kazhany" and the Poltava residents still have a chance to enter the playoffs.

The most productive player of the meeting was the captain of the Poltava team Nik Sotnyk (14 points).

The MVP award was received by Illia Polishchuk, a setter from Poltava.
