Despite the difficult and intense five-set match the day before, it was clear from the first minutes of the confrontation that it was the representatives of the Poltava Region who managed to recover better (11:6). They played well on the block (3 blocks) and their defensive actions were much better than the opponent's (16:8). It is very difficult to overcome a double advantage in men's volleyball. No miracle happened this time either. "Reshetylivka" recorded the starting set in its asset - 25:16.
In the second set, the situation was repeated: the Poltava team looked much better (14:9). Serhii Sosnin's wards immediately took advantage and remained the leaders until the end of the set - 25:18.
After a long break, "Reshetilivka" hurried to finish the game in order to board a comfortable bus and go home (7:1). The players of Ternopil managed to make up for lost time a little (10:13). However, the team game of "Reshetylivka" was much more coordinated and effective (20:14). In the end, 25:17 and 3-0 for the Poltava team.
Dmytro Shavrak, the outside hitter of Reshetylivka, received the MVP award.
The third match will take place in Reshetylivka on April 20 at 17:00.
