Super League-Dmart 2023/24 (women)

4th round. The first game. December 8

SC "Prometey" — "Regina-MEGU-OSHVSM" 3-0 (25:17, 25:15, 25:15)

The players of "Prometey" did not experience any particular problems with "Regina" in the final confrontation of the first game day of the 4th round of the Super League-Dmart. "Red and whites" once again did not give a single set to the opponents.

The reigning champions of Ukraine predictably took the lead at the start of the meeting. However, the wards of Antonina Zhuk managed to effectively "cover" the famous rivals and equalize the parity, and after a mistake by Melissa Bukman, they also took the lead.

Next, Andriana Pavlyk served into the "conflict zone", and Anastasia Zgurska used a free ball (5:8). Ivan Petkov was in no hurry to take a timeout, allowing his wards to stabilize the game on their own, and by the middle of the set they managed to regain the lead. After that, only "Prometey" dominated the court - 25:17.

Again we witnessed an equal struggle at the beginning of the set (6:6). But with each new draw, the "red and whites" gained momentum, in particular, Anastasiia Maievska on the block. Thanks to this game element, her team secured a comfortable handicap (12:7). By the end of this segment, the Dnipro team managed to develop its success — 25:15.

A considerable number of mistakes by the players of "Prometey" allowed the Rivne team to take the lead for the second time in this match, and quite confidently (3:6). However, it was quite difficult for today's underdogs to keep up the pace of the opponents. Perhaps there were signs and excitement somewhere, that's why the numbers on the scoreboard are 25:15.

Starting line-up of SC "Prometey": Heiko (8), Danchak (16), Maievska (5), Meliushkyna (10), Oliinyk (1), Bukmen (16), Niemtseva (l).

Starting line-up of "Regina-MEGU-OSHVSM": Pavlyk (6), Hriazina, Trofimchuk (3), Zghurska (4), Nakoskina, Savchenko, Prokopova (l). Substitutes: Berezniuk (4), Minko.
