On the eve of this match, the players of the Chernihiv team Yaroslav Savkiv and Maksym Nikolaichuk assured that they would try to show their best game and impose a struggle on the national champion. On the other hand, it was difficult for the players from Dnipro to "feel" the game and it took a long time for them to get used to its pace. In the end, "Burevisnyk" created a small sensation and won the first set against "Prometey" - 25:23.

Then Andrii Levchenko's wards did not make the previous mistake and immediately seized the initiative. Team captain Vitalii Shchytkov served aces, his teammates performed a good block and effectively completed two attacks (4:0). In this episode of the game, the players from Dnipro demonstrated their usual fast and high-quality volleyball and allowed the opponent to score only 13 points - 25:13.

The 10-minute break did not dampen the fighting spirit of "Prometey" and in the next two sets, Chernihiv volleyball players did not have any chances - 25:14 and 25:16.

The most productive player of the meeting was Dnipro's outside hitter Dmytro Yanchuk (17 points). He received the MVP award.
