In the opening set, the reigning champion of the country immediately made it clear that he was not going to "drag out" this match for more than three games (5:2 - 10:4). The players of Dnipro dominated all elements of the game, and they were especially good at serving, which every time knocked out the representatives of Poltava region from the reception (18:9). In the end, Flavio Gulinelli's team allowed opponents to score only 16 points.

A long break did not change the victorious mood of the Dnipro team, and fortune never smiled on the Poltava residents. The coach of "Reshetylivka" gave a chance to prove themselves on the court to players who had less playing time until now. But they lacked the experience to turn the tide of the match (9:11 – 16:22). In the end, 25:1 and 3-0 for "Prometey".
The most productive player of the meeting was the opposite player of the Dnipro team Dmytro Viietskyi (16 points).
