"Halychanka-ZUNU" — SC "Prometey" 0-3 (10:25, 16:25, 13:25)
The game against Halychanka was the fourth in a row for Prometey volleyball players in the championship of Ukraine. Despite this, the "red and whites" again did not face much resistance from their opponents, defeating them by the results of three sets.
Ivan Petkov's wards acted organized on the block from the first minutes of the match, which led to their spurt (0:5). For their part, the players of "Halychanka" seemed not to pay attention to the result, trying to act boldly in attack. This helped them to produce a productive series and significantly reduce the gap (5:7).
When "Prometey" found its playing rhythm, it was already difficult for the Ternopil team to oppose them on equal footing. In particular, on Viktoriia Danchak's serve, they completely failed the reception and scored only 10 points by the end of the set.
A large number of mistakes by the "red and whites" at the final stage of the combinations kept the intrigue in the first half of the next set (9:11). However, the current champions of the country, as in the previous set, managed to minimize them and soon increase their margin. Therefore, there was no intrigue here either - 16:25.
The long break benefited the representatives of Ternopil, who unexpectedly took the lead (5:3). Then the events began to develop according to the scenario already known to us: Petkov's wards seized the initiative and began to stamp point after point - 13:25.
