SC "Prometey" — "Alanta" 3-0 (25:19, 25:15, 25:14)
"Red and whites" once again confirmed their class in the meeting with "Alanta". Thus, "Prometey" ends the regular championship with a hundred percent score. Also, Ivan Petkov's team did not concede a single (!) set to its opponents in 18 matches.
Gariy Yegiazarov's wards showed from the first minutes of the confrontation that they are not going to just give up the victory (0:2). However, later, on the stable serve of Marta Drpa, the current champions of Ukraine made a breakthrough and left their competitors far behind (8:3). Among the latter, the offensive game was completely disrupted, because almost every attack of theirs went to "out".
After a time-out from the "Alanta" coach, his wards stopped the opponent's spurt and even reduced their deficit to three points (19:16). In those minutes, we witnessed already a series of mistakes from "Prometey". It seemed that the intrigue in the set would last until the end, but Ivan Petkov took a timely 30-second break, which brought the "red and whites" to their senses - 25:19.
In the next set, events developed according to a similar scenario: Lidiia Luchko and company took the lead in the debut (0:3), but again quickly lost the advantage (9:4). After that, they were always in the role of those who caught up. Yegiazarov tried to refresh the game of his team with substitutions that did not manage to affect the course of the game. Bojana Milenkovic soon put an end to this set with an ace - 25:15.
Once again, Petkov's team responded to the opponents' 0:3 start with seven won rallies in a row. A wonderfully organized block of Prometey caused a lot of trouble for Alanta today. That is why the representatives of this club were forced to take risks all the time, and sometimes it paid off (15:13). However, the end of the set completely remained for the "red and whites" - 25:14.
