SC "Prometey" — VC "Bukovynka" 3-0 (25:20, 25:22, 25:15)
The current champions of the country continue their triumphant march to another title in the domestic arena. In the central match of the 10th round, they overcame the "Bukovynka" and prematurely became the winners of the regular stage of the Super League-Dmart 2023/24.
The first rallies gave us hope that today we would witness an interesting fight (3:2, 5:4). The team from Chernivtsi acted in an organized manner on the block, and also attacked accurately, in particular, from behind the line of attack (6:6). Soon after Maria Kaplanska's ace, they took the lead (6:8).
At the equator of the set, the initiative was seized by the "red and whites" - the advantage of Artem Dyhtiarenko's wards melted right before our eyes (13:10). The Dnipro team increased their momentum with each new rally, so the coach of "Bukovynka" had to take the second time-out in a short period of time. In the end, the ending was without much intrigue — 25:20.
In the next set, the volleyball players from Chernivtsi continued to impose their volleyball on the opponent. They clung to every point in defense, which is why they were rewarded with a fortune in the very next episode: after serving the aforementioned Kaplanska, the ball caught the upper cable of the net and fell on the side of "Prometey" (7:8). However, this only angered Ivan Petkov's team, which responded with a spurt (13:8).
Due to morale and willpower, "bukovynka" was able to return to the game. With each scored point, their eyes lit up more and more (18:18). However, it was the individual class of volleyball players of "Prometey" that became decisive in this section. Soon Svitlana Dorsman put an end to it and moved the match into the third set - 25:22.
After a 10-minute break, the champions of Ukraine immediately secured a comfortable 4-point lead. It is worth saying that their opponents in this set did not act with such fervor as in the previous two segments. Hence the score on the scoreboard — 25:15.
