A preview of the VII round of the Super League-Dmart: will someone open in a new way in 2023

The matches of the first tour of the women's Super League-Dmart of the 2022/23 season will be held from January 11 to 14.

It will be opened by the players of "Alanta" (Dnipro) and "Halychanka-ZUNU" (Ternopil). We would like to remind you that recently the Dnipro team won their debut trophy in history - the League Cup.

- Of course, we are in a high mood, because we won the first trophy for the club, - said the head coach of "Alanta" Gariy Yehiazarov. - It inspires and adds faith in oneself and one's strengths and motivation to work even harder. Such victories are important for every athlete.

Already in one day, "Alanta" will meet with "Balta". Yegiazarov's team is higher than their opponents in the standings and is considered the favorite in the confrontations. However, it is possible that one of the underdogs will start to surprise with their game already at the start of 2023 and will put up a decent resistance to stronger rivals. Moreover, the Dnipro team has some problems with the composition.

- We encountered a seasonal virus, but I think this problem affected most teams. In addition, Kateryna Silchenkova has a small shoulder injury, so she works according to an individual program. Her participation in the upcoming matches is in question. In general, we are systematically preparing for the upcoming round, - Gariy Shamoevich added.

Another representative of the Dnipropetrovsk region, the current champion of Ukraine SC "Prometey" (Kamyanske) will play against "Balta" and "Halychanka" in the VII round. Currently, they occupy third place in the championship, two wins and one point behind the solo leader "DobroDiy-Meduniversitet-ShVSM" (Vinnytsia).

It is clear that the "red and whites" will try to catch up with the team from Vinnytsia. But the latter is not going to lose points either - against the national teams of Ukraine U-17 and U-15. As Yuliia Yakusheva noted, despite the loss in the final of the League Cup, the players of her team are in the fighting spirit, and all victories are yet to come!

By the way, the blue-yellow U-15 did not take part in the aforementioned competitions. We hope that a little rest will benefit the young athletes, and they will eventually be able to get their first victory of the season.

- We had so-called vacations, - said the head coach of the Ukrainian U-15 national team Anastasia Kotlyarenko. - The girls went home and met with their relatives. Of course, rest was beneficial. Everyone returned with renewed strength and full of energy. The only thing that so far on this tour is without Marichka Goshilyk. She has already moved on to active recovery from the injury but will not be on the court yet.
