The start of the match seemed surprisingly interesting. At first, the teams fought evenly (4:4). And a little later, the volleyball players of "MHP" broke ahead (8:5 - 15:12). Almost until the end of the set, the residents of Chernivtsi were in the role of catching up (18:18). However, at the decisive moment, they used the block (23:21) and kept their concentration until the end of the set - 25:22.
Then the situation repeated itself: teams took turns taking the lead (0:2 – 3:3 – 9:6 – 24:24). And again, at the decisive end of the set, "more or less" the composure and maximum concentration was kept by Yaroslav Savkiv, the outside hitter of "Burevisnyk". At first, he attacked from the fourth zone, and in the next episode served an ace - 26:24.
In the third set, there was an incredible struggle for every won ball (5:5 – 17:17). An error by the Vinnytsia residents on the serve and a block by Maksym Nykolaichuk provided the northerners with +2 points of advantage (19:17). A few controversial moments, and their own mistakes completely "knocked out" the wards of Kyrylo Peredrii (17:20 - 19:22). On the contrary, Roman Nosko's team was given confidence to win the set - 25:20 and the match - 3-0.
The most productive players of the meeting were the middle blocker Maksym Nykolaichuk from the North and the opposite of "MHP" Mykhailo Yakushenko. They scored 14 points each.
The MVP award went to Yaroslav Savkiv, an outside hitter of Burevisnyk.
On March 7, at 19:00, the Chernhiv team will play against Chernivtsi "Bukovyna".
