The current national champion "Prometey" (Dnipro) and last season's bronze medalist "Law Academy" (Kharkiv) were the first to start the fight for a ticket to the finals.

In the first set, Kharkiv players failed to impose a fight. The captain of "Prometey" Vitalii Shchytkov earned an advantage with his powerful serve (6:3). And the opposite Dmytro Shapoval and Mihajlo Stanković were quite accurate in their attacks (13:7 – 18:12), which ensured a comfortable distance from the opponent. Shapoval also worked well on the serve (21:14 – 23:15). And, in the end, "red and whites" quickly scored the necessary 25 points - 25:15.
In the second set, the Kharkiv team also failed to impose its game or at least adapt to the tempo of its opponent. The players of Dnipro simply demonstrated their quality volleyball (8:3). Their powerful attacks did not leave the "lawyers" any chance (16:6). This time Flavio Gulinelli's wards allowed the opponent to score only 12 points - 25:13.
After a long break, the situation on the court did not change: the team from Dnipro dominated and was full of strength to finish this match as soon as possible (7:4 - 13:9). Good serving, effective play on the block and accurate shots resulted in an "easy" victory for "Prometey" - 25:18 and 3-0.
Dmytro Shapoval (20 points) became the most effective player of the meeting.
The libero of Prometey Horden Brova received the MVP award.
Tomorrow, March 29, at 16:30, the teams will meet in the second match of the 1/2 final of the Super League-Dmart.
