Starting line-up of the National team of Ukraine: Pyvovarenko (scored 14 points), Kuts (8), Tsmokalo (13), Dehtiar (2), Shteryk (8), Hetman (15), Yakovliev (l), Dzhul (l). Substitutes: Donets (2), Cheleniak (0), Antonenko (1).

The start of the match was for the Ukrainians (3:0), but the opponents quickly equalized the score and kept close all the time (3:3). The end of the game was decisive: volleyball players of the Turkish national team again made positional faults during the set, and Nazar Hetman scored an ace (18:16). Then there was a time-out for the opponents, and then two more powerful pitches from Hetman (20:16). In the end, the Ukrainians easily scored the required 25 points - 25:21.

The second set was similar to the previous one, but at the beginning, Turkey took the initiative (2:4). Then there was another even score (10:10) and a great game on the block and on the serve from the Ukrainians (16:14). Nazar Hetman was, as they say, "on fire" and again made a much-needed ace. The whole team finished the set "on courage", and team captain Tymur Tsmokalo finished it with an attack, just like the previous set - 25:21.

In the third set, Andriy Levchenko's players were in the lead (4:1), but the Turkish volleyball players rallied on the block and "covered" the attacks of Ukrainians (16:19). In the end, this set was "taken away" by Turkey - 21:25.

The fourth set was the last: the Ukrainians acted concentratedly in the attack, on the block and on the serve (14:10). But they lost the advantage (20:20). Andrii Levchenko, the coach of the "blue-yellows", made a timely substitution: Denys Dehtiar appeared on the serve and made two aces (22:20). Then the teams started an uncompromising struggle, which, fortunately, ended in favor of Ukraine - 27:25 та 3:1.

The most productive player of the match was outside hitter Nazar Hetman. He scored 15 points.

Tomorrow, July 21, at 18:00, the "blue and yellows" will play against the team of Latvia.
