After a short break, the women's teams of the Super League-Dmart started the playoffs of the national championship with renewed strength. On February 28, the debut quarter-final match between the National team of Ukraine and "Balta" took place. Of all the three pairs at this stage of the competition, this one is probably the most unpredictable. After all, the opponents finished the "regular" in the fifth and fourth positions, respectively.

The starting minutes of the confrontation were in favor of blue-yellows — 6:3. Their opponents had little success, in particular, at the reception. From here, problems also arose in the attack. Therefore, even before the equator of the set, the coach of the Balta players, Serhii Koltsov, took a time-out. But it did not affect the course of the game in any way - 11:4.

Only after the second 30-second break, representatives of Odesa began to act more carefully on the block, which helped them regain the intrigue in the set - 17:14. However, in those moments, Marharyta Heiko assumed the role of leader in the U-17 national team. The effective shots of the athlete helped her team to stabilize the situation on the court and eventually triumph in this set — 25:21.

The next segment promised to be more intriguing because the teams went hand in hand — 7:7, 14:14. Next, Volodymyr Podkopaiev sent Daria Makarova onto the court to serve. The outside hitter was good at her job. In one of the episodes, she knocked her rivals out of the reception. Also, the already mentioned Marharyta Heiko was successful in finishing the attacks - 16:14. The double block of Kima Zharkova and Kristina Starostenko increased the team's lead to three points. As a result, they were able to keep their advantage until the end of the set - 25:23.

The third set was marked by a "more-or-less" game. Initially, the blue-yellow team led with a handicap of five points - 10:5. However, thanks to their perseverance, the volleyball players of "Balta" turned everything upside down - 12:16. It is interesting that soon the opponents changed roles again: Zharkova's two aces put the Ukrainian national team ahead — 20:18. Koltsov's players did not have enough emotions to perform a comeback - 25:20.
