These expectations were completely fulfilled. This time the U-17 national team became the winner, and in order to achieve success, they demonstrated remarkable fighting qualities. In the debut part of the match, it was impossible to give an advantage to anyone. Only at the equator of the set was a small advantage of "Balta" - 11:8. For its part, the U-17 national team took 3 consecutive rallies and equalized the score, but in the future, it constantly had to catch up with the opponent. It happened several times, but the last word in the set remained with the Balta team - 25:21 in their favor.
The second set was played very powerfully by the U-17 national team. She started with a starting advantage of 7:4, and then the handicap of the "national players" grew to 9 points (19:10). The head coach of SC "Balta" Serhii Koltsov took a time-out twice during the game, but his wards never managed to turn the game in the right direction. The team of Koltsov's colleague Volodymyr Podkopaev won the set with a score of 25:15.
After a ten-minute break, the U-17 team continued to dominate throughout the third set - 7:4, 11:8, 19:15, 22:17. The team's victory in the set was completely deserved and allowed it to take the lead in the match - 2:1.
At the beginning of the fourth set, the team made several mistakes in reception, and this allowed Balta to establish a starting advantage - 5:3. It took very little time for the national team of Ukraine U-17 to seize the lead - 10:7, 16:10. In the time-outs, Serhii Koltsov tried to influence the unfavorable situation for his team, but today was the night of national team of Ukraine U-17. They achieved a strong-willed victory in 4 sets and took 4th place in the tournament table.
