After the men's European Championship, which ended a few days ago in Rome, the first 16 national teams participating in the World Championship 2025 were finally decided. Those are the winners and prize-winners of continental tournaments, as well as the current champions of the World Championship.

1. Italy as the current world champions
2. Argentina as winners of the South American Championship
3. Brazil as silver medalists of the South American Championship
4. Colombia as a bronze medalist at the South American Championship
5. The USA as the winner of the NORCECA Championship
6. Canada as silver medalist of the NORCECA Championship
7. Cuba as bronze medalist of the NORCECA championship
8. Japan as winners of the Asian Championship
9. Iran as silver medalist of the Asian Championship
10. Qatar as bronze medalist of the Asian Championship
11. Egypt as winners of the African Championship
12. Algeria as silver medalist of the African Championship
13. Libya as bronze medalist of the African Championship
14. Poland as winners of the European Championship
15. Slovenia as bronze medalist of the European Championship
16. France as fourth place at the European Championship (thanks to Italy's direct qualification as world champions)
Let's add that a total of 32 teams will play at the World Championship. The rest of the tickets will be divided between the host country and the 15 best national teams according to the FIVB ranking.
