Experienced player Ian Yereshchenko earned two break points thanks to the game on the net and the block (6:4). He continued to perform amazingly and helped his teammates Dmytro Teromenko and Dmytro Viietskyi in reception and attack as much as possible (16:10). Although, in the end, "Zhytychi" somewhat "moved up" in the score, setting up a block several times and conducting effective attacks (18:20). However, this was not enough to turn the tide of this set. 25:22 in favor of "Prometey".

The successful result of the first set gave the Dnipro players even more motivation not to stop and to continue actively pressuring the opponent with their serves and attacks. The ace of the Serbian legionnaire Mihajlo Stankovic strengthened the advantage of the "red and whites" (4:1), and gave his teammates an incentive and space for risks and powerful attacks (5:1 - 8:4 - 11:8). However, the volleyball players of the Zhytomyr club were not going to give up without a fight and made three blocks in a row with joint efforts, equalizing the score on the scoreboard (11:11). However, Mykola Rudnytskyi's mistake on the serve and Yereshchenko's block again brought "Prometey" ahead (13:11). The advantage of Flavio Gulinelli's wards remained until the end of the set (18:15). Dmytro Viietskyi put the full stop in this segment of the game - 25:22.

The 10-minute break had no effect on the teams. Volleyball players of "Prometey" once again took the initiative (7:4), and Zhytomyr had to play catch-up for the whole set (9:16 - 12:18). The match ended with two aces by Dmytro Viietskyi and a block by Dmytro Teromenko. As a result, 25:15 and 3-0 in favor of the current champion of the country.

The most productive player of the meeting was Ian Yereshchenko (20 points). He received the MVP award.
