“Security Police-ZUNU-Dynamo”- Prometey VC – 0:3 (18:25, 19:25, 16:25)
In the first match of the ninth round of the male Super League-Budinvest met Ternopil collective "Security Police-ZUNU-Dynamo" and Dnipro's team Prometey.
The beginning of the match was in favor of Ternopil (5: 3), but the team of Andrii Levchenko quickly was able to reduce the gap (7: 7), and then go ahead (20:12). There was almost no chance of catching up with the opponent in this set for Ternopil (18:25).
The second set looked more equal (13:13). But in the middle of the set, errors in reception of the Ternopil team and attacks by Shapoval and Yereshchenko resulted in a margin of +5 points (20:15). Then again, nobody and nothing prevented the Dnipro team from recording one more set in their assets – 25:19.
The third set also started in an equal struggle (8:8). The Ternopil volleyball players tried to get emotional and resisted the leader, but the class of the opponent was still higher and they did not allow Ternopil to get closer. In the end, 25:16 and 3:0 in favor of the Dnipro club.
The opposite of VC "Prometey" Dmytro Shapoval became the most productive player of the match (16 points).
The MVP (Most Valuable Player) prize was awarded to the setter and captain of Dnipro Vitalii Shchytkov.
