Women's Super League-Dmart 2022/23
Match for 5-7 places. The first game
Chernivtsi Arena "PVLU". March 30, 2023
"Halychanka-ZUNU" — National team of Ukraine U-15 3-0 (25:21, 25:22, 25:23)
Ternopil have serious ambitions to win the overall fifth place in the current Super League-Dmart draw. They clearly demonstrated this in the first meeting of this stage against the blue-yellows U-15.
At the beginning of the match, it was difficult to predict who exactly would win the overall victory today. The teams were evenly matched for a long time (10:10). However, closer to the equator of the set, Anastasia Kotlyarenko took a 30-second break because her girls completely lost control of the game — 14:10.
It is worth saying that the time-out benefited the U-15 team: they improved their actions over the net and reduced their deficit to a minimum - 15:14. The successful series turned out to be short-lived, because the impulsive mistakes of the young athletes put them back in a difficult situation, from which they could not get out — 25:21.
Instead, the second set started with a serve of Anastasiya Nedilko spurt and a sprut of blue and yellows — 0:4. Ternopil clearly did not plan such a development of events. And instead of continuing to dictate their conditions on the court, they had to catch up. However, they quickly coped with this task and even took the lead - 7:5. Then we witnessed a "more-or-less" game, where the end of the segment was again in favor of "Halychanka" - 25:22.
In the third set, it seemed that the young players simply gave up, despairing of their own success - 12:3. Then, due to a comfortable handicap, the representatives of Ternopil lost their concentration for a moment, returning the intrigue - 16:13. However, they rallied in time and pressed the opponents - 25:23.
