"Halychanka-ZUNU" — "Regina-MEGU-OSHVSM" 3-2 (18:25, 25:22, 25:23, 17:25, 15:12)
In the confrontation between the teams from the lower part of the Super League-Dmart tournament table, "Halychanka" was able to push "Regina" to a tie-break and, as a result, win its debut in the Ukrainian championship of the current season.
Antonina Zhuk's wards started this match more confidently. Maria Nakoskina and Andriana Pavlyk acted impeccably in attack in those minutes (1:4). However, Mariia Rybolovleva's first pace attack, followed by the double block of Halychanka, reduced the gap between the teams to a minimum (6:7). Then the match was interrupted due to an air raid alert.
After the break, the sides exchanged local jerks (10:11). At a certain moment, the representatives of Ternopil began to make more mistakes, so they let their opponents go (13:18). Dariia Hriazina's next successful dike forced the coach of the Halychanka team Liudmila Chornenka to take a timeout. But neither a 30-second break nor a change of setters changed the course of the game in the first set — 18:25.
At the start of the next set, the players of "Regina" had a lot of problems at the final stage of combinations, which the visitors took full advantage of (10:5). It is worth noting that "Halychanka" significantly improved its game in attack, which allowed it to lead comfortably (16:11). It seemed that they would bring the segment to the win without any particular problems. However, the Rivne team recovered and was close to a comeback (19:18). In the end, Chornenka was able to reach her wards, who regained their triumphant pace — 25:22.
The first half of the third set was completely dictated by Ternopil (13:5). They took courage, which could not be said about the players from the opposite side of the net. Well, it was very difficult for them to get their debut victory in the championship. However, as in the previous game, the total advantage of "Halychanka" began to melt before our eyes (20:19). Andriana Pavlyk's shot soon equalized parity. At the end, the fans experienced a feeling of déjà vu — 25:23.
The fourth set was not the final one in this match. Because the volleyball players of "Regina" drew conclusions after the last two unsuccessful sets and still pressed the opponents, moving the meeting to a tie-break - 19:25. There we witnessed so-called "swings" and intense struggle, but in the end "Halychanka" had the last words - 15:12.
