The last match of the 8th round of the men's Super League-Dmart and the first stage of the tournament was the meeting between VC "Prometey" and VSC "Bukovyna".

For the current champion of the country, this match had no tournament significance. Dnipro became the winner of the "regular" early and reached the semi-finals of the championship. But for "Bukovyna" it was the last chance to enter the Top 6 and the playoff round. For this, the team from Chernivtsi needed to win only two sets.
This motivated them to start the game strongly (5:2) and impose their pace on the opponent (11:9). However, Flavio Gulinelli's wards quickly came to their senses (13:13). During the long break, the Italian coach of "Prometey" Flavio Gulinelli had a conversation with his wards, and, when they appeared on the court, they instantly began to perform his instructions. The players of Dnipro made a powerful serve (11:6), which was very difficult for the Bukovyna team to cope with (16:9 - 20:9). So, this segment of the match was confidently won by the team in red and white uniform - 25:13.
In the fourth set, the situation with powerful serves from the Dnipro players repeated. First, there were three "ace" servings from Dmytro Shapoval, and then three more aces from Dmytro Teromenko (14:8). As a result of successful team actions and concentration, "Prometey" did not allow the opponents to score more than 19 points - 25:19 and 3-1 in the end.
