Super League-Dmart 2023/24 (women)
3rd round. The sixth game. November 25
VC "Dobrodiy-Meduniversitet-ShVSM" — "Halychanka-ZUNU" 3-0 (25:19, 25:21, 25:19)
Before the meeting with Halychanka, Yuliia Yakusheva's wards had suffered four consecutive defeats in the championship of Ukraine. But today they did get rid of the rough patch and at the same time continued the winless streak of Ternopil, which already includes six matches.
Already at the start of this match, Anastasiia Kucher knocked her opponent out of reception with a serve, distinguishing herself with several aces (4:1). Later, both teams made a series of mistakes on the service, more of which were made by Vinnytsia. At the same time, effective shots by Maria Rybolovleva and Vitalina Kimak brought "Halychanka" ahead (6:7).
The double block by the Ternopil players increased their advantage by two points (11:13). However, the latter lost their concentration for a moment, due to which they began to falter more in the final stage of attacks. In the end, "Dobrodiy" seized the initiative, bringing the set to its own victory - 25:19.
The first half of the next set took place in an equal struggle. Although at first, it seemed that Yuliia Yakusheva's wards had already found a winning rhythm (7:3). "Halychanka" added power over the net and soon restored parity (11:11). Well, then again there was a sign of an unsuccessful reception, which cost Liudmyla Chornenka's team the won set - 25:21.
First of all, the "Dobrodiy" team got an unexpected start from their rivals (0:4). But the vice-champions of Ukraine quickly turned the game around (7:6). Then the parties took turns exchanging points. Such "swings" lasted almost until the end of the third set, where the players from Vinnytsia once again proved to be stronger - 25:19.
