SC "Balta" - "Dobrodiy-Meduniversitet-ShVSM" 3-1 (25:17, 25:20, 19:25, 27:25)
In the decisive third match of the Super League-Dmart playoffs, "Balta" prevailed over "Dobrodiy" and made it to the semifinals of the competition. At this stage, Andrii Romanovych's wards will meet the volleyball players of "Prometey".
The starting rallies gave us an understanding that today's match will be very hot (3:3). Both teams no longer had the same freshness and strength as on the first game day. Because of this, simple mistakes arose, in particular, in "Dobrodiy", which allowed the Balts to organize a rush (6:3). The latter continued to confidently keep their opponents at a comfortable distance, but at the same time did not forget to develop their own success - 25:17.
In the next set, Romanovych's team, albeit minimal, still continued to have the initiative (9:8). On its' equator, Valeriia Yakusheva's serve caught her opponents by surprise: the captain served an ace and knocked out a reception, leveling parity (11:11). In the end, the volleyball players of "Balta" noticeably improved their actions on the block, which helped them double their advantage in sets - 25:20.
"Balta" players lost their concentration a little after the long break. The reception was completely unglued in them, and this explains the rush of "Dobrodiy" (0:5). Looking ahead, we note that it turned out to be decisive in this segment - 19:25.
The attack at the first pace by Kseniia Ratii, followed by the double block of her teammates provided the starting leadership for the representatives of Odesa (5:3). For their part, players from Vinnytsia tried not to let their opponents go far. Soon after another mistake, the Balta team evened the score (12:12). The final minutes were tense, but in the end, Romanovych's team had the last word in the "more or less game" — 27:25.
